PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator of a rotary electric machine for a vehicle which can reliably fix an electric insulation member to a stator core.SOLUTION: A stator 3 of an AC generator 1 for a vehicle comprises: a stator core 31 in which a plurality of slots 35 are formed in a circumferential direction; a plurality of segment conductors 33, with a rectangular cross section, housed in a radial direction in each of the slots 35 and wound around the stator core 31 to form a stator coil 32; a sheet-like insulator 34 which surrounds the segment conductor 33 in each of the slots 35 and has a plurality of truncated cone penetration parts 100 protrusively formed toward a wall surface of the slot 35; and resin 36 filled around the insulator 34. |
