PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a washing machine which saves energy by operating with indicating lamps turned off, and which can prevent an incorrect determination of a user.SOLUTION: A washing machine includes: a data communication means 115 for performing data communication with a portable phone 112; an input means 117 for performing turning-off of a power supply, setting of an operation curse and the like; a display means 116 configured by a plurality of indicating lamps in order to display operation content; and a control means 119 for controlling the data communication means 115, the input means 117, the display means 116 and the like, and for executing a series of operations of the washing machine 111. The control means 119 is configured in such a manner that it turns off the indicating lamps of the display means 116 by receiving operation information from the portable phone 112 from the data communication means 115. Thereby, the power consumption is suppressed accordingly, energy can be saved, and at the same time, an incorrect determination of a user can be prevented. |
