PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power train system for making a diagnosis of abnormalities in heat transfer paths and junctions in the electric power train system having a plurality of heat generation sources and a plurality of heat transfer paths.SOLUTION: An electric power train system is a drive system for an electric vehicle, in which a plurality of components having a heat generation source, for example, a motor 1200 and an inverter 1100, are integrally structured with a contact face interposed therebetween. The electric power train system has a plurality of temperature sensors 1400 and a diagnostic control section 1310 comprising a heat transfer model 1312 of an electric power train which has been simulated on the basis of the temperature of the temperature sensor, and the diagnostic control section estimates temperatures of the plurality of components by using the heat transfer model to determine whether there is an abnormality for heat transfer in a plurality of drive diagnostic modes. The electric power train comprises an output device 100 for outputting the determination result by the diagnostic control section. |
