PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnesium alloy member to which a resin molding is firmly connected.SOLUTION: The provided member comprises: a base consisting of a magnesium alloy including more than 7.5 mass% of Al; a chemical conversion film formed on the base surface; and a resin molding bonded directly with the chemical conversion film. The surface roughness Rz and surface area ratio of this chemical conversion film are respectively 10 μm or above and 2 or above. This magnesium alloy member abides in a state where deposits existing within the base are partially bared from the surface of the chemical conversion film, and it becomes possible to secure a sufficient bonding area of the chemical conversion film and resin molding and to firmly bond both based on peaks and valleys created by the deposits thus bared. |
