PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To project a desired projection image regardless of the existence of a subject located in front of a projection object.SOLUTION: A projection control part 41 executes control for making a projection part 19 project a projection image corresponding to an inputted image signal toward a projection object, such as a screen 110. An image acquisition part 43 acquires an image including: the projection object, such as the screen 110 with the projection image 130 projected thereon by a projection part 19; and a subject 120 located in front of the projection object of the screen 110 or the like, seen from an imaging part 18, the image being imaged by the imaging part 18. A subject detection part 44 detects an area of the subject 120 from a captured image captured by the imaging part 18. A projection image processing part 46 performs prescribed image processing of the area of the subject 120 detected by the subject detection part 44 with the projection image projected by the projection part 19 as an object. |
