The present invention relates to a rubber composition for a tire tread and a tire manufactured using the same. The tire tread rubber composition according to the present invention comprises 100 parts by weight of crude rubber and 5-40 parts by weight of cellulosic nanofibers. The tire tread rubber composition is able to maximize the abrasion resistance of a tire with excellent mechanical properties by exceeding the limit of the abrasion resistance improvement degree of the tire according to the use of general fillers and is able to entirely improve the physical properties of the tire.
