Disclosed is an apparatus for removing foreign materials on a strip edge unit, capable of removing zinc (Zn) tree on a strip edge unit, which is generated as passing an electroplated line. The apparatus for removing foreign materials on a strip edge unit prepared thereby comprises a moving block; a first driving unit which supplies power so that the moving block can move in the width direction of a strip; a second driving unit which supplies power so that the moving block can move in the length direction of the strip; a cleaning unit is placed on the moving block in order to remove foreign materials formed on a strip edge; a sensor unit which is placed on the moving block and senses the position of the moving block in the width direction of the strip; and a control unit which receives signals from the sensor unit in order to control the operation of the first and second driving units. |
