A torque ripple reduction method of the MDPS system is provided to obtain current of dp-axis on stationary coordinate system using table of the sinusoidal function and the location information without distoration. A torque ripple reduction method of the MDPS system comprises: a step (S10) of defining d-axis current as 0; a step (S20) of converting the value of S10 to dq-axis current of stationary coordinate system; a step (S30-S70) of obtaining dq-axis current of normal stationary coordinate system in which torque ripple is removed using steering angle sensor of the motor driven power steering system; and a step (S80, S90) of converting the dq-axis of stationary coordinate system to three phase coordinate system. |
