摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an axial yield type elasto-plastic hysteresis brace which can enhance rigidity of a steel core material, is shaped such that twist or warpage hardly occurs when manufacturing the core material, and allows the core material to be manufactured more easily than before.SOLUTION: In an axial yield type elasto-plastic hysteresis brace 10, the outer periphery of an H-steel 11 as a steel core material is covered by a concrete or mortar member 13 for buckling restriction via an unbonded layer 14 and the outer periphery of the concrete or mortar member 13 for buckling restriction is strengthened by covering by a rectangular steel tube 12. Reinforcement plates 16 are laid on exterior surfaces of flanges 11b of both ends of the H-steel 11, respectively, and welded together, and the concrete or mortar member for buckling restriction is provided so that the reinforcement plates enter the inside of the concrete or mortar member for buckling restriction from the end thereof by a predetermined dimension L. An insertion dimension L of the reinforcement plates is set within a range between 2B≤L≤3B and 2H≤L≤3H, where the width of the H-steel of the steel core material is B and the height thereof is H.
