PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for executing a defrosting operation efficiently.SOLUTION: A refrigeration cycle device 100 includes: a controller 5; a main cooling medium circuit 11; and a bypass circuit 12. A first switching mechanism 41 is provided at the main cooling medium circuit 11. The first switching mechanism 41 is configured in such a manner that it selectively indicates either one of the modes out of a first mode in which a compressed cooling medium flows into a first heat exchanger 23 and a second mode in which the compressed cooling medium flows into a second heat exchanger 25. A second expansion mechanism 32 is arranged in the bypass circuit 12. In a defrosting operation, the controller 5 controls the first switching mechanism 41 in such a manner that the first switching mechanism 41 indicates the second mode, and also, controls the second expansion mechanism 32 in such a manner that the compressed cooling medium is allowed to flow the bypass circuit 12. |
