<p>Provided are a pallet changer capable of being conveyed using the usual conveyance containers without special packaging even when conveying large workpieces, and a pallet changer-storing method for storing the pallet changers. A pallet changer (10) for conveying multiple pallets (30), on which a workpiece to be processed in a processing device is loaded, into and out of the processing device, the width of each pallet (30) in the direction orthogonal to the direction (F) of conveyance in and out being formed to be larger than the opening (102a) for conveyance in and out of the conveyance container (100). The pallet changer is provided with: multiple pallet changer constituents (20-1, 20-2) that are multiply disposed in the direction (F) of conveyance in and out for the respective pallets (30) and in which surfaces (35) for loading the workpieces on the respective pallets (30) are formed; and connecting sections (40) for connecting the respective pallet changer constituents (20-1, 20-2) to each other in the direction (F) of pallet (30) conveyances in and out. Each pallet changer constituent (20-1, 20-2) is formed so that the length in the direction (F) of conveyance in and out is smaller than the opening (102a) for conveyance in and out of the conveyance container (100).</p> |
