The present invention relates to a panoramic channel list display and method of an image display device, which allow a portion of content to be continuously displayed so that a viewer can know the contents of a broadcast transmitted by a channel when showing a list of viewable channels and more specifically, to a panoramic channel list display and method of an image display device which allow a user to easily check a channel the user wants by capturing images of all the channels received and sequentially and continuously displaying the captured images in the channel list to allow the user to check a summary of the content broadcasted on the corresponding channel.
