PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a presence server for solving the problem that when the installing operation of presence information is not properly performed, a watcher is not able to select any proper communication means. SOLUTION: A presence memory stores presence information. A watcher list memory stores identification information for specifying the presence terminal of the notification destination of the presence information stored in the presence memory. A communication unit 402 receives comment information additionally written in the presence information. A comment memory 407 stores comment information received by the communication unit 402. A presence processing unit 403 notifies the presence terminal specified by the identification information stored in the watcher list memory of the comment information stored in the comment memory.
