The vessel (1) has a wall (4) provided with two portions (10, 12) and an opening (6) for receiving liquids to be analyzed. An outer surface of one of the portions is circularly symmetrical, and another portion comprises two flat surfaces (14) opposite to each another and arranged in parallel, where the flat surfaces are made of light transmissive material. An orientation unit comprises running guide grooves for orientation of the reaction vessel in a helical receiving position. A rotatable pin is attached in the receiving position. An independent claim is also included for a device for automatic analysis of samples. |
