A PSIP table structure for a digital broadcast receiver and a storage control apparatus thereof are provided to discriminate corresponding instances which have the same version by adding an instance index information field to the header of an ETT. A de-multiplexer(120) separates an audio, a video and a PSIP table from an inputted transmission stream. A storage unit(140) stores the index information for EIT and ETT instances in advance. A PSIP processor(130) determines whether the index information belongs to the stored index information or not, and then determines whether to store the EIT and ETT data. |
