PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inorganic pigment that is harmless, is safe in terms of environment conservation, is stable at high temperature, is not degraded during calcination, and exhibits colors from brownish-yellow to orange.SOLUTION: An inorganic pigment has a composition formula: ZrCeTbO(X+Y+Z=1, atom ratio) including zirconium (Zr), cerium (Ce), and terbium (Tb) as a main component, where X is 0.20-0.99, Y is 0-0.80, and Z is 0.005-0.06, the inorganic pigment exhibiting colors from brownish-yellow to orange. There are also provided a method of producing the pigment, and a coloring composition including the pigment. |
