The slug repellent has individual threaded-protective elements with the outwardly protective structures (k), where the individual protective elements are successively threaded on a support cable. A side surface (p) of the protective element is concave shaped and the opposite side surface is convex shaped, where the side surfaces of the adjacent protective elements form a connection. The protective elements are fixed by a lock at the beginning and at the end on the support cable. The support cable, protective elements and the protective structures are made of natural fiber, plastic or metal.
