A method and an apparatus for sharing motion information by using global disparity estimation by a macro block unit, and a method and an apparatus for encoding/decoding a multi-view video image by using the same are provided to remove inefficiency due to duplication of encoding information existing between multi view screens through global disparity estimation, motion information sharing, and estimation of a residual element, thereby improving coding efficiency. A motion vector estimation unit calculates a motion vector estimation value of a current macro block(42). The first corresponding macro block determining unit determines a macro block corresponding to the current macro block by using the motion vector estimation value(44). A global disparity calculating unit calculates global disparity according to the first corresponding macro block determined in the first corresponding macro block determining unit and stores the calculated global disparity(46). The second corresponding macro block determining unit handles the global disparity of the first corresponding macro block as the same as the global disparity of the current macro block, and determines the second corresponding macro block corresponding to the current macro block by using the global disparity(48). A motion information sharing unit shares motion information of the current macro block with the motion information of the second correspondence macro block(50). |
