PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical film that reduces reflection of external light through control of a polarization plane, and prevents loss of flexibility of an arrangement object.SOLUTION: A multilayer structure of 1/4 wavelength plates is made by a transfer method. For this purpose, a transfer film 20 that is a transfer body for an optical film includes: a transfer layer in a multilayer structure having at least a retardation layer 9 for a 1/2 wavelength plate that applies a phase difference to transmitted light by a 1/2 wavelength, and a retardation layer 8 for a 1/4 wavelength plate that applies a phase difference to transmitted light by a 1/4 wavelength; and a support 21 that holds the transfer layer.
