PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid discharge device which easily opens a work space for jam processing etc. while stabilizing hydraulic head for a liquid discharge head.SOLUTION: A printer 1 includes: a lower housing 12; and an upper housing 11 which is supported by a rotation shaft 13 and may rotate relative to the lower housing 12. The upper housing 11 holds an ink jet head 2 and sub-tanks 42. The lower housing 12 holds cartridge attachment parts 41a to which ink cartridges 41 are respectively attached and a platen 9. When the upper housing 11 is disposed so that the ink jet head 2 faces the platen 9, the ink cartridges 41 are disposed below the sub-tanks 42. |
