A seat device for a vehicle is provided with: a seat back (2); an attachment member (7) rotatably supported by the seat back (2) and capable of swinging between a stowed position (A) at which the attachment member (7) is received in a receiving recess (4) formed so as to penetrate through the cushion pad (11) of the seat back (2) and a protruding position (B) at which the attachment member (7) protrudes forward of the seat back (2); and an inner board (26) for closing the rear opening face of the receiving recess (4). A board support member (20) having a holding groove (21), in which the lower end section of the inner board (26) is fitted from above, is mounted to the frame (10) of the seat back (2). An engagement protrusion (22) and an engagement groove (24) are respectively formed on one and the other of the opposing side faces of both the holding groove (21) and the lower end section of the inner board (26), which is fitted in the holding groove (21), the engagement protrusion (22) and the engagement groove (24) engaging with each other and preventing the inner board (26) from moving upward. The configuration can, without the use of a special securing member such as a tack, simply prevent the separation of the lower end section of the inner board, which is fitted in the holding groove of the board support member. |
