The present invention relates to a vortex preventing blade for the pumping inlet of a ballast tank (10) including an intake pipe (20) on the inlet with a bell mouth (25) between them; a band member (30) above the bell mouth (25) to cover the intake pipe (20); and a disk member (40) fixed to the bottom of the band member (30) in a horizontal manner. Therefore, the present invention improves the performance of a pump and extends the service life of the pump by preventing a vortex when ballast water is discharged; and improves the convenience of workers when the workers periodically replace components which are susceptible to corrosion as they come in contact with seawater.
