SHIP NAVIGATION APPARATUS USING TRANSPARENT DISPLAY

Disclosed is a vessel navigation device using a transparent display capable of collecting navigation information while keeping eyes on the front and allowing safe navigation even in a case of not securing a front clock by displaying navigation related information using a transparent display. The vessel navigation device using a transparent display comprises a transparent display which is installed in the front surface of a wheelhouse of a vessel to display navigation related information; an electronic chart display and information system (ECDIS) for displaying chart information by a computer; an automatic identification system (AIS) for providing, in real time, navigation information like a location, a course, and a speed of the vessel; a navigation sensor device for collecting navigation information like vessel location information and moving speed information; and a navigation display control device which is connected to the ECDIS, the AIS and the navigation sensor device, generates navigation related information and provides the transparent display with the generated navigation related information.
