An indicator material for control of tightness of articles comprises fabric carrier and indicator sensitive to nitrogen dioxide. It is formed of carrier as bleached cotton fabric of cheap cotton or lawn type, with specific surface from 0.5 to 1.7 m/g, and bis-4-(3-phenylpropylpyridine)zinc(II) diiodide as indicator, this has tetrahedral structure, with general formula ZnCHNI, wherein for one gram of the carrier there are 0.03 to 0.10 grams of indicator. |
