PURPOSE: A flame retardant polyester resin composition is provided to reduce volatility while obtaining improved flame retardancy, mechanical property, thermal resistance, and surface appearance. CONSTITUTION: A flame retardant polyester resin composition comprises 35-70weight% of polyester resin, 8-11weight% of bromine-based flame retardant; 1.5-5weight% of antimonite-based flame retardancy improver; 20-45weight% of inorganic filler; and 0.5-4weight% of volatility reducer. The volatility reducer includes citric acid. The inherent viscosity of the polyester resin is 0.45-1 dl/g at 25>=. The bromine-based flame retardant is represented by chemical formula 1. In chemical formula 1 n is a number average polymerization degree of 1,800-2,000. |
