Provided are a method and apparatus for entering a network for client cooperation in a wireless communication system. A first device receives a ranging request message from a second device through a frame of a first system, and transmits the received ranging request message to a base station of a second system. In response to this, the first device receives a ranging response message that is a response to the ranging request message from the base station of the second system, and transmits the ranging response message to the second device through the frame of the first system.
