PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of realizing a comfortable cooled environment, and dissolving waste of power consumption of a compressor and an indoor blower.SOLUTION: While a cooling operation is continued, a compressor is stopped at a point of time when a detection temperature Tm reaches a control temperature Tc which is a temperature lower than a set temperature Ts by a bias temperature &Dgr;Ts, and if there is no human body in a room R, rotation of a turbo fan 7 is stopped, and if there is a human body in the room R, rotation of the turbo fan 7 is continued, and a value of the detection temperature Tm is corrected to a corrected detection temperature Ta which is lower by a prescribed temperature correction amount &Dgr;Tm. While the corrected detection temperature Ta is the temperature equal to or lower than the set temperature Ts (the control temperature Tc in order to prevent hunting) (Ta=Tm-&Dgr;Tm≤Tc), rotation of the turbo fan 7 is continued as long as there is a person in the room R, and when the corrected detection temperature Ta exceeds the set temperature Ts (Ta>Ts), thermo-on is restarted. |
