PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of regeneration sand, capable of sufficiently removing fine powder stuck to a surface of casting sand.SOLUTION: The regeneration method of the casting sand collected by separating a sand mold used for casting, comprises a roasting-baking process (a step S5) for burning down an organic substance stuck to the casting sand by roasting-baking the casting sand, a first polishing process (a step S7) of shaving off from the surface a coating film including hematite having magnetism finally formed on a surface of the casting sand by executing the roasting-baking process and a second polishing process (a step S8) of polishing the surface of the casting sand of shaving off the coating film from the surface in a casing 51 by grinding capacity lower than grinding capacity in the first polishing process, and the second polishing process is a process of discharging the fine powder to the casing outside by wind power by peeling off the fine powder stuck to the surface of the casting sand of which the coating film is shaved off from the surface by the first polishing process. |
