PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air purification device for a vehicle which is capable of exhibiting an ozon purification function over a long period of time in Direct Ozone Reduction (DOR) system using an ozone purification body composed combining manganese dioxide and activated carbon.SOLUTION: To obtain a large ozon purification amount in useful life, durability of an ozon purification function is required. Therefore, the ratio of manganese dioxide in an ozon purification body needs to be 20% or higher. To obtain a large ozon purification amount, the influence of the actual road environment on the ozone purification function also needs to be taken into account. Thus, having excessively high ratio of manganese dioxide in the ozon purification body is undesirable. Considering these, the mixing ratio (weight basis) of activated carbon and manganese dioxide is adjusted between 4:1 and 1:4 in the embodiment. |
