POSITION INDICATOR, VARIABLE CAPACITOR, AND INPUT DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve durability of a variable capacitor by surely returning the variable capacitor to an initial state.SOLUTION: A position indicator comprises: a housing 11; a core body 12 formed in a shape of almost a rod, one end projecting outside the housing 11 to be housed by the housing 11; and a variable capacitor 15 whose electrostatic capacity is changed by external force applied through the core body 12. The variable capacitor 15 includes: a holder 21 for housing a dielectric 22; and a holding member 24. One end is connected to a conductive member 26, the other end is provided with an elastic member 27 connectedly fixed to a base plate having a circuit part, and the conductive member 26 is energized in a direction of separating from the other surface of the dielectric 22 due to elasticity of winding parts 51 of the elastic member 27.
