PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information code and an information code reading apparatus that enable easy authenticity determination.SOLUTION: An information code 10 includes a code region 20 composed of a plurality of bright-color modules and dark-color modules, and a covering part 11. Part of the plurality of bright-color modules arranged in the code region 20 is covered by the covering part 11 which transmits light in a second wavelength band, and exhibits dark-color reflection characteristics when irradiated with light in a first wavelength band.
