PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent and reduce diffusion of a reservoir liquid such as oils or a dangerous substance in the case of an emergency, subjectively to a tank storing the reservoir liquid therein.SOLUTION: A breakwater structure comprises: a dike 11 which is installed around a tank 1; a floating-type liquid-proof fence 12 which is accommodated in an accommodation part 11a formed in an upper portion of the dike; and a mooring rope 13 for mooring the floating-type liquid-proof fence. The floating-type liquid-proof fence includes: a float 12a which can be floated from the accommodation part onto a water surface when the dike sinks in the case of an emergency; and a fence body 12b which is disposed near the water surface while being supported by the float and can be deployed around the tank in the case of an emergency. The floating-type liquid-proof fence and the mooring rope have a function to moor the overall tank, and the floating-type liquid-proof fence has a function to absorb shock when a drift collides with the tank. |
