PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image information transfer system and a medical image information transfer method which can enhance performance in information security.SOLUTION: Medical image information imaged by a modality device 1 is transferred to and stored in a storage device 24 while the modality device 1 and the storage device 24 of a portable work station or a portable personal computer 2 are connected and the storage device 24 and an image server device 4 are disconnected. Then, the medical image information corresponding to patient information stored in a hospital information system or a radiation information system 6 among pieces of the medical image information stored in the storage device 24 is transferred to the image server device 4 while the storage device 24 and the image server device 4 are connected and the modality device 1 and the storage device 24 are disconnected. |
