PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an inexpensive porous filter for air cleaners exploiting high antibacterial and deodorant aptitudes of platinum nanoparticles.SOLUTION: An aqueous platinum nanoparticle solution is prepared by diluting an undiluted stock of the aqueous platinum nanoparticle solution including platinum nanoparticles dissolved into 1 L of water by using additional water of volume equivalents confined to a range culminating in a specified multiplying power (e.g., multiplying power of 1500 equivalents). A porous filter 3 is preliminarily impregnated, etc. with this diluted aqueous platinum nanoparticle solution, and the porous filter 3 having absorbed the aqueous platinum nanoparticle solution is then dried. The sheet-shaped porous filter 3 possesses, in the interior thereof, many through-holes constituting air paths of several μm meandering zigzag upward, downward, leftward, and rightward. The flow of air AA collides with the anterior plane of the filter 3 and passes through the paths of the respective through-holes therein. Many platinum nanoparticles having high antibacterial and deodorant aptitudes exist within these paths. |
