Directional solidification of weld seam (13) during deposition welding, preferably welding a substrate (4) of a component (1), which is directionally solidified and contains dendrites (31), comprises extending weld seam in a substrate dendrites direction, where the process parameters with respect to feeding rate, laser power, welding beam diameter, powder beam focus and/or powder mass flow are provided such that they lead to a local orientation of temperature gradient (28) on solidification front, which is less than 45[deg] to the substrate dendrite direction of the dendrites in the substrate. Directional solidification of weld seam (13) during deposition welding, preferably welding a substrate (4) of a component (1), which is directionally solidified and contains dendrites (31), comprises extending the weld seam in a substrate dendrites direction, where the process parameters with respect to feeding rate, laser power, welding beam diameter, powder beam focus and/or powder mass flow are provided such that they lead to a local orientation of the temperature gradient (28) on a solidification front, which is less than 45[deg] to the substrate dendrite direction of the dendrites in the substrate. The method exhibits G(n/v) factors (where G is temperature gradient and v is velocity of solidification) at least temporarily, preferably completely, excluding the G(n/v) factors for monocrystalline or columnar dendritic growth. |
