The driver assistance device has a laser unit (11) to produce the light effect on a track (13). A position mark (12) of a load handling device (5) is labeled on the track by the light effect at specific steering angle which satisfies a cam track angle fixed by the load handling device according to the driving along curves of an industrial truck (1).
