The present invention relates to an ink charging device for an ink cartridge capable of conveniently charging ink even through ink cartridges or hands are not stained with the ink. In the ink cartridges having a porous member in which the ink is impregnated and an ink inlet, the present invention comprises: multiple cartridge holders capable of detachably mounting the ink cartridges and having a connector connected to the downward ink inlet; a main body having a base in which the multiple cartridge holders are installed at predetermined intervals and multiple lift guiding passages; multiple ink vessels arranged to be lifted along each lift guiding passages; inverted siphon tubes connected to the bottom of the multiple ink vessels and the connectors to discharge the ink from the ink vessels to the connectors using siphon phenomenon; opening and closing units installed in each inverted siphon tubes to control the discharge of the ink; and elastic members for supporting the bottom of the ink vessels to elastically lift the ink vessels so that the ink can be constantly discharged by back siphonage depending on the amount of the ink charged in the ink vessels. The ink is charged in the porous members of the ink cartridges by sucking the ink discharged from the connectors using capillary phenomenon. |
