PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignition control device of an internal combustion engine which prevents the deviation of ignition timing of the internal combustion engine.SOLUTION: A pickup coil 3 is arranged in the neighborhood of a protrusion part 12 of a rotor 11 which rotates in synchronization with an internal combustion engine 2 and a voltage signal generated on the pickup coil 3 is taken into an ECU4. The ECU4 has a comparator 21, generates a rectangular wave signal from the voltage signal and calculates rotation angle and rotation speed of the internal combustion engine 2. A ignition processing switching part 25 outputs a switching command of ignition processing in accordance with the rotation speed and a threshold switching part 24 switches a threshold used for preparation of the rectangular wave signal. The threshold switches a standard part 13 of the rotor 11 with the timing detected by the pickup coil 3 immediately before the ignition processing after the switching is executed in the first place.
