摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-phase co-continuous silica structure that is substantially free of a silanol group and that comprises: a silica constituted of a Q4 bond; and a cavity, as well as a simplified and effective production method thereof.SOLUTION: The production method of the two-phase co-continuous silica structure comprises the steps of: (I) mixing a precursor silica (X) and a molybdenum compound or vanadium compound (Y) to obtain a mixture (A); and (II) heating the mixture (A) obtained in the step (I) at a temperature within a range of 600-1000°C. The two-phase co-continuous silica structure obtained by way of the method comprises: a phase comprising a silica as a main component; and an air phase. The chemical bond of the silica is constituted of a Q4 bond.
