PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure band for a blood pressure measurement device, which can suppress a degree of variations in the volume of air in a bladder due to a length of a circumference of a region to be measured.SOLUTION: A pressure band for a blood pressure measurement device includes: an outer packaging bag including both an outer member and an inner member that extend in a circumferential direction in which a region to be measured is encircled and in a width direction perpendicular to the circumferential direction; a blood-blocking bladder having an air chamber that is enclosed in the outer packaging bag and extends along the circumferential direction; and a ring member which is attached to the neighborhood of one end in the circumferential direction of the outer packaging bag and has a substantially oval shape. A hook-and-loop fastener is provided in the neighborhood of the other end in the circumferential direction of the outer member of the outer packaging bag. In wearing the pressure band for the blood pressure measurement device, the outer packaging bag is wound around the region to be measured with at least a portion of the inner member brought into contact with the region to be measured, the other end is inserted into the ring member together with the bladder and is folded back, and the hook-and-loop fastener is engaged with a corresponding portion of the outer member. At a part where the bladder is folded back by the ring member, a step is formed with respect to a width direction on an inner surface of the air chamber of the bladder. |
