PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information appliance enabling a user to specify a movement position and a size of a display area of a display object on the screen freely, and a method and a program for display control of the appliance.SOLUTION: The information appliance includes: display means having a screen on which a display object is displayed; detection means for detecting a locus of movement of indication means on the screen; and control means for identifying the size and location of a specific area in the screen on the basis of a location of the locus on the screen and a direction of a prescribed shape represented by the locus on the screen, and displaying the display object on the specified area, when the locus represents the prescribed shape. |
