PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the position of a change lever with excellent accuracy with a simpler structure. SOLUTION: The electric shift position signal value and the electric select position signal value of a Hall element 3 which are output corresponding to the magnetism of a magnet 2 in three ranges in the shift direction of the change lever and three ranges in the select direction of the change lever are recorded in a memory of the Hall element as the sensor characteristic values. Between ranges, the Hall element 3 performs the complementary output of the electric shift position signal value and the electric select position signal value corresponding to the position of the Hall element 3 as the sensor characteristic values by using the shift side virtual line connecting the adjacent electric shift position signal values to each other and the select side virtual line connecting the adjacent electric select position signal values to each other.
