摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a standby power reduction module capable of effectively reducing a standby power by using a capacitor.SOLUTION: A standby power reduction module comprises: capacitors (electric double-layer capacitors EDLC1 and EDLC2) each having a predetermined capacitance; charging control means (a charger IC 121) controlling charging to the capacitors; detection means (a capacitor charging circuit 120) detecting a full-charged state of the capacitors; voltage monitoring means (a voltage monitoring IC 122) monitoring a power supply voltage of an external power supply (a converter 11) and a voltage of the capacitors; and switching means (a switch controller 124) switching a supply source of a power to a load 20 by a control signal from the voltage monitoring means. The voltage monitoring means outputs the control signal in the case that the power supply voltage and the voltage of the capacitor becomes equal to or less than a preliminarily-set threshold. The switching means switches the supply source of the power to any one of the external power supply or the capacitor, on the basis of the control signal.
