PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To greatly reduce the number of manufacturing steps and costs.SOLUTION: A droplet discharge head includes a liquid chamber substrate having a liquid introduction path for introducing liquid to a nozzle substrate and a pressure liquid chamber, an oscillator constituting a part of the liquid chamber substrate, a piezoelectric element, a liquid supply substrate including a drive circuit element for driving the piezoelectric element, a common liquid chamber constituting member 8 having a common liquid chamber communicated with the pressure liquid chamber via the liquid introduction path to supply the liquid to the liquid pressure chamber, and a housing member 3 for supplying the liquid from a liquid storage part to the common liquid chamber via a communication pipe 13. The common liquid chamber constituting member includes a metal plate 16 having a slit opening, and a surrounding wall member 17 cooperated with the metal plate to constitute the common liquid chamber. As a material of the surrounding wall member 17, a thermoplastic elastomer resin is used, and the wall member 17 is integrally formed with the metal plate. A housing member is integrally formed with the common liquid chamber constituting member by injection molding using a resin material different from the thermoplastic elastomer resin. |
