PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oscillation element and an optical scanner excellent in environmental resistance, and an image projection device and an image forming apparatus using the optical scanner.SOLUTION: An oscillation element 30 includes a torsion bar 31, an oscillation body 32 adhered to the torsion bar 31, and a magnet 35 adhered to the oscillation body 32. A moisture barrier member for protecting the element from moisture is disposed in an adhesion portion between the torsion bar 31 and the oscillation body 32 and in an adhesion portion between the oscillation body 32 and the magnet 35. The moisture barrier member may comprise a film 37 having low moisture permeability or an adhesive containing a raw material having water barrier property.
