PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet processing device where binding processing with adequate pressing force according to the conditions of a sheet bundle can be performed.SOLUTION: A sheet processing device comprises: a pair of pressing members having concavity and convexity on a surface; a pressing force applying means to bind a sheet bundle PB by pressurizing the sheet bundle PB inserted between the pressing members by applying pressing force to the pressing members from a thickness direction; and a setting means to set the pressing force applied by the pressing force applying means corresponding to the sheet information of the sheet bundle.
