PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric motor capable of preventing winding disorder of a coil provided on a stator core and of enhancing a space factor of the coil.SOLUTION: An outer diameter side wall 26 of a first insulator 31a has abutting portions 34 and 35 inclined to an inner diameter side. There is a gap of 1/2 of a pitch of a guide groove 14 between a vertex of an inner surface of the outer diameter side wall 26 and an outer diameter side end part of a coil 9. An inner diameter side wall 27 has a horizontal abutting portion 36 on the outer diameter side, and is formed so that an abutting surface of the abutting portion 36 has substantially the same height as the inner diameter side end part of the coil 9. A first stage of the coil 9 is wound so that a winding-start coil wire 13 is contacted with the abutting portion 34, and a final-row coil wire 13 is contacted with the abutting portion 36. A fourth stage of the coil 9 is wound so that a winding-end coil wire 13 is contacted with the abutting portion 35. In addition, at an end part of the first insulator 31a, an engaging part 15 engaged with the coil wire 13 is formed planarly. |
