PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct an image having a decoding error.SOLUTION: A decoder includes: a decoding processing part for decoding coded data and outputting decoded pixel data, coding parameters, and decoding error information; a frame memory for storing pixel data; a coding parameter storing part for storing a coding parameters; a concealment control part for determining on/off of concealment processing based on the decoding error information; a concealment range calculation part for calculating a concealment range if the result of the on/off determination is on; a concealment range dividing part for dividing a concealment range into divided groups, and furthermore into subgroups; a predicted moving vector calculation part for calculating a predicted moving vector for each of the divided groups/subgroups within a concealment range; and a concealed image generation part for generating a concealed image from a predicted moving vector and pixel data stored in the frame memory, if the result of the on/off determination is on. |
