METHOD FOR CORRECTING INPUT COORDINATE AND ITS DEVICE AND COORDINATE INPUT DEVICE

PURPOSE:To correct the coordinate error due to the fluctuation of phase speed when a position is calculated by counting a vibration transfer delay time. CONSTITUTION:This coordinate input device is placed on a XY stage 13 and a vibrator pen 3 is positioned at the coordinate set by a host 11. At this position, an coordinate is inputted into a vibration transfer plate 8 and the coordinate is calculated by a calculation control circuit 1. The calculation control circuit 1 reads the value set by the host 11 to calculate a ratio to the calculated coordinate, and the uses it as a correction coefficient for the coordinate. In the case of inputting a coordinate, the coordinate obtained from the phase delay time of an elastic wave is multiplied by the correction coefficient. Thus, more accurate coordinate is obtained.
