PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder supply device and an image forming apparatus that are designed such that even in a case where a new powder container is installed, troubles in that an amount of power discharged from the powder container in the beginning are reduced.SOLUTION: A drive motor is installed for driving a powder container and ejecting powder stored in the powder container. The drive motor is controlled such that a drive time for each drive is longer than that in an ordinary case until the cumulative number of drives reaches a predetermined number after the drive of the power container is started following the installation of a new powder container. |
